My name is Ryan! 

As a young man out of high school, I started working in retail. I always had an interest in airplanes and decided I would pursue a career in aviation. The process was long and seemed slow at times, but I committed myself to the process and worked hard until I had paid for all my aviation schooling. I was able to move forward in my career by becoming a flight instructor and I trained others to fly. I enjoyed instructing but developed greater aspirations in becoming an airline pilot. I was offered a job as a First Officer working for a regional commercial airline and a few years later would advance my career by becoming a Captain. During this time, I also got married. The demands of being a Captain and the hours spent away from home made me start to reconsider what matters. Hence the name of the company!

What matters to me is quality of life, which is a balanced life. I wanted to be able to spend more time at home with my wife and be able to attend church with her on Sunday, as well as be more involved in our community. We made a decision for us as a family, and I walked away from my career as a pilot to open my own business. I have always loved woodworking. Being creative is something I enjoy. While growing up, my dad allowed me to assist with projects around the house and fixing cars. Since becoming a homeowner myself, I have used a lot of those skills in my own home. We all have skills that we can use that may be a benefit to others, why not use them! My ultimate goal in this business is to be able to find creative solutions to your home needs by building something new, or repairing what is there.
